The May luncheon was held at the Anthem Grill (formerly Marlowe’s) on a blustery, rainy May 11th.  Kim Frankovelgia was very entertaining.  She sang a lot of original and funny stuff which kept us howling as well as a few old favorites.  Her voice was great and her interaction with the crowd was phenomenal.

The door prizes were Highlighting our golf activity with related "Tee Time" items.  Congratulations to all the winners.

The June Installation luncheon was held on a bright, beautiful day, June 8th, at the Makray Memorial Golf Club. Forth-six were in attendance for this annual event.  Our outgoing President conducted business one last time by thanking the outgoing Board for all their hard work and dedication to making this club what it is today, making announcements and recognizing the month of June birthday attendees at the Luncheon. 

The Ways and Means committee held a series of raffles (see tins in pictures) to benefit the Adopt-a-Family project.  $90 was raised to go towards this annual event.  Congratulations to all the winners.  A gift and the President’s Book (a photo story of her year in office) were presented to our out-going president by our 1st Vice-President.

The Installation ceremony of Executive Officers was held. Congratulations and welcome to the new Board!

August 2010 Summer Social Photos Posted Here

The summer social was a very big success! It was held on a spectacular Saturday July 17 at Twin Lakes Park.  Though hot (the weather hit the 90’s) it was a brilliantly sunny day.  Using the same caterers they used last summer the food was delicious and the cold drinks flowed.  The party started at 4:30 with 47 in attendance and continued until around 8:00 with nary a cloud in the sky.  Good food, good company and a spectacular day.  Who could ask for anything more! Kudos Social Committee!
